Namco Bandai’s first PlayStation Move game is Time Crisis: Razing Storm, a home version of Razing Storm and two other on-rails arcade shooters.
You get…
Razing Storm
Time Crisis 4 (arcade only)
and Deadstorm Pirates.
All three games will be available from the beginning, you won’t need to unlock them. The first person shooter story mode Namco Bandai made for the home version of Time Crisis 4 isn’t part of the package. You only get the arcade game. Razing Storm has a new FPS story mode, an eight player online deathmatch mode, and sentry mode where four people take turns (round robin style) being as a prison guard.
Namco Bandai didn’t have the new features ready for a demo, but I got to play Razing Storm with the PlayStation Move. The trigger button underneath the controller is used for shooting. The top button acts like the pedal by dropping your shield when you press it. This part of Time Crisis: Razing Storm is identical to the arcade game minus the giant gun. Oh, and you have to stand or sit within the camera’s range to play.
Time Crisis: Razing Storm also supports a standard Sixaxis controller and, if you still have one from Time Crisis 4, a Guncon 3. You need to have a Guncon 3 or a PlayStation Move plus the sub-controller to blast through the game’s story mode.
Time Crisis: Razing Storm is scheduled for release this fall. Namco Bandai is aiming to make this game a PlayStation Move launch title.
