It’s safe to say that Amazon is known to publicize a game or console before release. The
PS3 Slim was listed on Amazon Germany, and now a new listing for
Grand Theft Auto IV has surfaced.
According to the listing on Amazon UK, Grand Theft Auto IV is to be
getting a Platinum version (Greatest Hits equivalent for Europe). Right
now, the title has a nice price of £16.99, which goes for $24.99 in
North America. The regular price is £19.99, meaning this would have the
price of a normal Greatest Hits title. The listing shows a release date
of October 30th 2009, one day after The Ballad of Gay Tony is released
for Xbox 360.
