Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) have
announced that they will be making many improvements to the PlayStation
Network Store. They have said they will be improving the digital
quality of the games that are soon to be arriving on the store. For the
few years the store has been online, it has been in a huge competition
with the 360's version of PSN, XBLA.
Items for the PSP like songs will be better quality when downloaded from your PC. The PSN Store sees games such as Fat Princess coming soon and with a huge range of PS one originals also on their way, Sony are putting their all into the PlayStation for the moment.
Despite having over 200 full games already on the network, Sony
are planning to expand that to around 300 by the end of the year. It is
also rumored that Sony have secured exclusivity for DLC content for
upcoming games. Xbox Live needs to watch their backs for the moment.
