Dante’s Inferno is based on the medieval epic poem The Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri. The dark fiction gave birth to the Tuscan Italian dialect and is widely considered the work that has defined the western world’s contemporary conception of hell and purgatory. The poem tells the tale of Dante who journeys through the twisted, menacing nine circles of hell in pursuit of his beloved Beatrice. Dante’s tortured and tormented world is an ideal setting for this 3rd person action and adventure of a video game, Dante’s Inferno.
The Dante's Inferno: Trials of St. Lucia DLC is set up to provide Dante’s Inferno players with a slew of online trials to play. The gameplay will be similar to what you played in the main game, but the trials will be comprised of a series of locations and objectives to overcome, and each one will have a score based on how much you’ll need to do to complete the trial and the difficulty setting. Think of it as the gamemakers’ attempt at “Dante’s Inferno Arcade.”
